Turbine Labs, a leading provider of AI-powered software that gives senior executives the unbiased information they need to make critical decisions and mitigate risk, today announced it has appointed Tom Teynor as its COO. Teynor will be responsible for honing the company’s strategic and operational strategy as the business continues to scale. He will be providing leadership and oversight for the company’s production, operations, and account management functions while also assisting with fundraising and sales. Teynor is based in Turbine Labs’ Greenwood Village, CO headquarters location and will report to the company’s Founder and CEO, Leigh Fatzinger.
“For the better part of 20 years, Tom has successfully held operational leadership roles in companies across a wide range of industries. He has a proven track record of aggressively and profitably scaling businesses with similar profiles and trajectories as Turbine Labs,” said Fatzinger. “Tom has the ideal profile and background to drive our growth and development, and we’re honored to have him join the team,” he added.
Prior to joining Turbine Labs, Tom founded Divination Consulting – a management consultancy focused on helping start-ups and growth stage companies. He previously held C-level executive positions at three start-ups, including Ascent360, a SaaS-based marketing technology company; Coolerado Corporation, a cleantech air conditioning manufacturer; and Alysis Technologies, a SaaS-based financial technology company. Teynor sold Coolerado to Seeley International and Alysis Technologies to Pitney Bowes. Teynor also held senior leadership and marketing positions at Wolters Kluwer Financial Services, Pitney Bowes, and Wells Fargo Bank. He is an instructor for the Energy i-Corps program. He also serves on the board of the Clean Energy Credit Union, and served on the boards of the Colorado Cleantech Industry Association (CCIA), Coolerado Corporation, and TopLine Federal Credit Union. Teynor received both his Bachelor of Business Administration and MBA degrees from the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota and completed additional leadership training at the University of Adelaide in Australia.
“I am excited to join the rapidly growing team at Turbine Labs,” said Teynor. “The company’s value proposition – transforming information access into market and competitive advantage – is clear and timely. I look forward to facilitating and accelerating the company’s growth and traction in the market,” he added.
