Media Relations Analyst

Turbine Labs (www.turbinelabs.com) is looking for Media Relations Analysts ready to join our flight plan in Denver, Colorado and in London, UK.

Over the last few years, the onslaught of new data, the breadth of new information sources (real and fake), and the pace at which events materialize have made obtaining direct, unbiased intelligence increasingly challenging for executives and policy makers.

Turbine Labs is AI-powered software with human oversight, delivering customized topic, event, and crisis intelligence briefings to executives in near real-time. For our customers, Turbine Labs is easy to use - with no complex software to learn and navigate. Executives and policy makers simply make requests of the platform in everyday language.

With the speed of a real-time dashboard, the depth and context of an industry expert, and the candor of a trusted peer, Turbine Labs is uniquely transforming the speed and quality of executive decision making.

We’d like you to join us as a Media Affairs Analyst.

Media Affairs Analysts at Turbine Labs work in a highly collaborative environment to produce and deliver immediately actionable topic and campaign briefings for our customers, who are senior executives at large companies, policy makers and lobbyists. Our Software as a Service (SaaS) aggregates and filters consumer, media, influencer, and virality data from millions of sources to determine the true impact of any event or campaign.

While software gets us most of the way to delivering our product, we rely on curious, motivated professionals to ensure every output meets the exacting standards of our customers, through the application of insights, narrative, and analysis.

  • Passionate about the quality of their craft and their output.

  • Focused on meeting or exceeding time sensitive deadlines.

  • Transparent in both person-to-person communication and to customers.

  • Passionate about creating their own path to success.

To Best Fit the Role, We Require:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, journalism, marketing or communications, and 3-5 years of relevant work experience in corporate communications, journalism, media relations, or public relations.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to research complicated subjects using a variety of sources (e.g software and databases)

Bonus Points If You Possess the Following:

  • Experience working with and interpreting and complex data sets

  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (complex formulas and macros)

  • Knowledge and experience with market research and/or behavioral research

  • Experience working with data visualization applications such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Domo.

Turbine Labs offers:

  • Competitive salary and stock options commensurate with experience
